Willow Dragonflies and Swallows Weaving
Thursday 6th August 10am - 1pm.
In this creative willow workshop, you’ll learn how to weave your own elegant dragonfly and swallow, perfect hung or placed in the garden or home. Talented local artist and weaver, Jasmine Fassenfelt, will guide you through her process, from start to finish.
With step-by-step guidance, you’ll bend, weave, and shape the willow to bring these graceful forms to life.
The session is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to enjoy a few mindful hours crafting unique, nature-inspired pieces using sustainably grown willow to take home with them.
All tools and materials will be provided, and drinks, cake, and lunch can be purchased from Da Bara in the gardens. Depending on weather, this workshop will either take place outside in the gardens, or in our covered workshop space.
Please note that this workshop isn't suitable for under 16 year olds due to the fiddly nature of weaving, and those who suffer from joint pain or injury in their hands may struggle. If you have any doubts or concerns please get in touch with Jasmine on 07506554872.
