Willow Flower Weaving Workshop
Wednesday 17th June 10am - 1pm.
In this hands-on workshop, talented local weaver Jasmine Fassenfelt, will teach the art of shaping and weaving beautiful, lasting flowers out of sustainably grown willow rod.
With step-by-step guidance in the relaxed, peaceful setting of the gardens, it’s a wonderful opportunity to try a traditional craft and leave with your own handcrafted willow blooms.
All tools and materials will be provided, and drinks, cake, and lunch can be purchased from Da Bara in the gardens. Depending on weather, this workshop will either take place outside in the gardens, or in our covered workshop space.
Please note that this workshop isn't suitable for under 16 year olds due to the fiddly nature of weaving, and those who suffer from joint pain or injury in their hands may struggle. If you have any doubts or concerns please get in touch with Jasmine on 07506554872.
